Uses Firebase Authentication — works on the deployed site.
Lines starting with # become meal headers. Dish lines: ★ Dish name | CATEGORY — ★ marks mains; the category is optional. Categories: DISH · SOUP · KIMCHI · RICE · DESSERT.
Start each day with its date (YYYY-MM-DD on its own line), then the menu in the same format as above. One paste covers the whole week for the selected cafeteria.
Deleting your account removes your profile, your community posts and comments, and your login on every K&U site. This cannot be undone.
Account: your email and chosen display name (via Firebase Authentication). Profile (optional): university, length of stay, country. Content you submit: community posts, live chat messages, poll votes, and Contact-form messages. Live chat and community posts are public. Usage: we plan to use analytics tools (Firebase/Google Analytics) that may collect device/browser type, general location from IP, and page interactions via cookies.
To create and manage your account; operate community features; personalize content (e.g., by university); respond to Contact messages; moderate and enforce our Terms; understand and improve usage; and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers: Google Firebase for authentication, hosting, and (planned) analytics — data may be processed on servers outside Korea, including the United States. Public areas: chat, posts, and polls are visible to others by design. Legal requirements: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety. Transfers: if K&U's operations transfer to another student team, information may transfer under this or a comparable policy. No sharing for third-party marketing.
Cookies and similar technologies keep you signed in, remember preferences, and (once analytics launches) measure usage. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling them may affect features like staying signed in.
Account and profile data is kept while your account is active. Posts, chat messages, and votes may remain visible after deactivation unless removed. Request account and data deletion any time via the Contact page.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent. Reach out via the Contact page; we respond as promptly as a volunteer project reasonably can.
The Service is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe a child under 14 has provided data.
We take reasonable measures, including Firebase Authentication's security infrastructure, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than yours or Korea, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ.

K&U is an independent, student-run platform created by students to help international students navigate campus life in Korea. It provides campus information, maps, cafeteria menus, notices, and community features (live chat, community posts, contact form). K&U is not an official service of Korea University Sejong or any other university. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any university. Official matters should always be verified through official university channels.
The Service is intended for university students and prospective students, generally aged 14 and older. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that information you provide is accurate.
Some features are public — live chat and community posts may be visible to all visitors. You agree not to: harass, threaten, or abuse others; post hate speech or discriminatory content; impersonate anyone; post spam or advertising; post illegal or infringing content; or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service. We may review, remove, or restrict content and accounts at our discretion. You retain ownership of your content and grant K&U a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display it solely to operate and promote the Service.
Menus, maps, and notices are aggregated from various sources and partly maintained by volunteers. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Verify time-sensitive or official information through official channels. Spot an error? Tell us via Contact.
The Service links to or embeds third-party services (e.g., Naver Maps, official university sites). K&U is not responsible for their content or practices; your use of them is subject to their own terms.
The Service's design, branding, code, and original content (excluding user content and third-party data) are owned by K&U's creators and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. K&U is a volunteer, student-run project and does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, K&U and its creators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the Service, including reliance on information provided through it.
We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Service or request account deletion via the Contact page.
We may update these Terms; material changes update the "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
